André Monteiro takes pictures for over 25 years, using 35mm, medium format and nowadays, in addition, digital equipment. He is a Pro Photography student of NYIP (New York Institute of Photography).
 
Is author of the book Memories: Cowboys of the Savannah, published by Instituto Casa Brasil de Cultura and it is producing the book Ecosystems of Goiás. 
 
It often accomplishes research works  in natural areas and in Reservations and State and National Parks of the Brazilian Plateau.

André lives in Goiânia, State of Goiás, Brasil.
